Originally from Albania, Gerta holds a prestigious degree in Textile Engineering, a foundation that gives her an extraordinary command of structure, fit, and fabric manipulation. Before establishing Amarla Atelier, she launched her first boutique in a small seaside city in Albania which quickly expanded her reach globally with an international online dress shop for little girls, celebrated for its craftsmanship and detail.

Your vision begins here.

Your experience begins with a private consultation at The Ivory, in the Amarla Bridal Studio. You'll meet with Gerta + team to explore your vision, inspiration, preferred silhouettes, and unique design details.

Together, we'll discuss fabrics, construction, embellishments, and the overall direction of your gown. During this appointment, we'll provide pricing for your custom creation, take detailed measurements, and establish your design timeline.

Once your design direction and the investment cost are approved, a deposit officially begins the creation of your one-of-a-kind gown.

First Fitting

Perfecting the foundation.

Your first fitting is where your design begins to take physical form. Using muslin, a preliminary fitting fabric, our atelier creates the initial structure of your gown to establish its silhouette, proportions, and fit.

This fitting allows us to make adjustments directly on your body, refining the shape and construction before working with your final materials.

Together, we'll also finalize your fabric selections, review design details, and approve the overall direction of your gown before moving into the next stage of creation.

Second Fitting

From concept to creation.

At your second fitting, your gown begins to reveal its true character.

Now constructed in its primary fabrics or lining, your design starts to resemble the finished creation. You'll see how the selected materials drape, how the silhouette moves, and how the individual design elements come together.

During this appointment, our atelier evaluates the fit, structure, and placement of details, making any necessary refinements as your piece moves toward completion.

Final Fitting

Every detail, perfected.

Your final fitting is the moment your vision comes together.

With your gown nearing completion, we'll carefully assess the finished silhouette, hemline, comfort, movement, and overall fit. Our team will review every detail to ensure your gown feels as exceptional as it looks.

Any final refinements are completed by our in-house atelier before your gown is professionally prepared for collection.
